Hey guys - thanks for you posts! I miss you guys - and everyone! This is my 2nd chance for internet access on my trip - the first one wasnt very successful. Internet access is very slow - and hard to come by! And phone access. Ive been having a really nice trip. The backpacking trip - 8 days was awesome. Crossed the northern ice cap, hiked valleys, mountains, rivers. Lots of evening bushwacking in my tevas exploring in very dense and prickery forests. The glaciers and ice caps on the mountains here have been amazing! Very forboding and furocious looking. Hearing the glacier grind and shift at night, crushing boulders in its path was impressively powerful. The mountains peaks remind me of CO. The forests are very dense and lush in Chile. The stars at night - mostly sleeping outdoors under the stars has been awesome. Got to see the southern cross and Orion is very clear to see. Have travelled by foot, van - going insanely fast on dirt roads, horse - carrying gear, boat. People have been very welcoming - especially in Chile. Looking forward to talking to everyone when I return. Im in El Chalten Argentina now - have gotten a little stomach flu so thats not fun. Been hiking all around the neighboring areas of the Fitz Roy mtns here. Leave tomorrow to vhead out onto the pampas in Argentina - grasslands. Some horseback riding and more camping and I think a mtn climb.

Take care! Have lots of good pics :)

Look forward to seeing everyone and talking when I get home. I miss my pups too.

Derek - I hope you are enjoying your time at the house. I really appreciate it!

See you. Back on March 9th. :)
